GV Prakash and Aanandhi have started shooting for their upcoming film Trisha Illana Nayanthara, which is being directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The latest is that Simran will be playing a key role in the film. She is expected to shoot during the second week of March for the film and has already lost a few kilos, we hear. Apart from her guest appearance in Aaha Kalyanam, this will be the former diva's full-fledged role in a Tamil film after nearly six years.
Confirming the news, Simran says, "The title itself is very catchy and that's why I agreed to listen to the script. Adhik narrated a beautiful story and my character was very impressive. I will be shooting for the film from next month."
As it is in the early stage, the actress does not reveal much about her role, but she says, "It is not a cameo but a very important role. I am currently working on my look in the film. I will be seen in an ultra-modern look."
